Los Gavilanes at Urcal
Close to the village of Urcal,
just off the motorway to the north of Huercal Overa there is a selection
of building plots where you can currently have your own design of villa built.
Individual plot sizes vary from 200 to 695
sqm but it is also possible to combine these to create larger plots if required.
The price per m2 of these plots has been
drastically reduced (Nov 2011) and is now just 75€/m2
Also, due to the drop off of work in the construction industry, labour
prices are also reducing and hence a dramatic overall drop in off plan villas.

ideas or pictures you have.
Urcal itself is located on
the lower slopes of the mountains which rise gradually to the north of Huercal Overa and
is a very attractive area with good views yet close to all major roads and
services. The village itself has the essential day to day amenities such as
shops, school, bar/restaurants and medical facilities. The coast can be reached in around
35 minutes
This is an area where you can meet up with
the few ex-pats who have already been lucky enough to discover this location and started
to reform some of the old cortijos or bought one of the new villas ....... or just become
part of the local Spanish community and their traditional way of life.
