We usually have plots and land available from a few hundred square metres through to hectares of land in the irrigated valleys or up in the hills and mountains. 

However be aware that since early 2003 the planning laws in Andalucia have been restricting any new building on Rustic land other than for pure agricultural purposes - however some builders are still building before obtaining planning consent with the result that there are now a large number of new homes that have been designated as "Illegal" by the Andalucian authorities - this has been particularly noticeable around the Albox area and down towards the Almanzora Valley.   However it is not limited to that area and as such if you are offered a 'building plot' that is more than about 1500 sqm you should be very careful and check that it is Urban land or at least has sufficient Urban land within it to build on.

PLEASE TAKE GREAT CARE WHEN PURCHASING LAND TO BUILD ON AND ALWAYS USE A SOLICITOR WHO HAS NO LINKS TO EITHER THE BUILDER OR THE CURRENT OWNER OF THE LAND.

As we also cover the area over the border from Andalucia and into Murcia region where the planning laws are slightly more relaxed then we should be able to still find rustic land for building in that area should you require it - but there is not a lot of it around.

Because of these changes in the law we now mainly search for building plots on demand rather than keeping a number on our books.   Please just let us know what you are looking for and we will look for it for you.

Please note that building on 'urban' land has not been affected - but obviously most urban land is on the edge of small villages or towns and plots tend to be much smaller than rustic plots - perhaps 500-1500 sqm.

A couple of areas where we have a number of these Urban plots already available are at Urcal and La Loma - both close to Huercal Overa and both sites having great views over the countryside.  On these sites you can have any design of house built.
