Cortijos, Houses and Ruins - in need of Reforming
In some cases there may not be Water and/or Electricity in the property. In these cases we will assist you to get this connected or solar power installed so do not rule out properties purely on this basis. We will also help you with all aspects of gaining permission to reform as well as directing an architect or builder on your behalf. Please do not be put off buying a ruin (or any other old property) at the thought of what a major task it might be to reform it. We are there to hold your hand and help you instruct the appropriate people for all the work if necessary so you hardly need to get involved - other than stating your preferences for decorating schemes! This can be one of the most cost effective ways to obtaining your dream home in Spain. Please note that its becoming increasingly difficult to get permission to rebuild complete ruins and the authorities are tending to only give permission to reform houses that effectively have 4 walls and a roof. However the rules are changing all the time so our architect will investigate each case individually before you commit to purchase. You should also note that some of the lower reference numbered properties below will have been on our books for quite a while when prices were higher and as such if not already reduced are quite likely to be highly negotiable.
