Murcia Villas
Due to the restrictions of building on Rustic land in
Andalucia we have now been looking at properties just over the border into Murcia
where planning laws are currently a little more relaxed. We can now therefore offer
you a choice of three new locations with large villas on 5,000
sqm and up to 20,000 sqm plots.
The three locations each have their own advantages and are
set in different types of countryside (see below), so you should be able to find your
ideal plot.
There are 3 villa designs to choose from
with sizes from 115 sqm up to a large 200 sqm property (as shown here) which can be
further enlarged by the addition of a basement. You can also modify the
designs to an extent to personalise the internal accommodation to meet your

At present there are also a few nearly completed
houses available to purchase in these locations which means you can be in a
position to move in within a couple of months.....or possibly even
sooner!
Locations
 La Escucha
is ideally located between Puerto Lumbreras and the coast at Aguilas
yet also within easy reach of the city of Lorca. The actual village
of La Escucha is walking distance from the plots and has a bank, health
centre, cafeteria, shops and a selection of bars and restaurants running its length and
the coast is less than 30 mins drive away.
Other facilities in the area include a newly built secondary
school and a planned golf course. This means that
everything is virtually on your doorstep but you also benefit from being in the middle of
the countryside.
There are 16 plots of 5,000 sqm and 2
of 20,000 sqm at La Escucha but only 6 of the smaller plots are
still available so an early viewing is highly recommended.
Close by to La Escucha is El Esparragal which is a small hamlet alongside
the expanding town of La Estación de Puerto Lumbreras (literally 'The
Station of Puerto Lumberas') located on the road between Puerto Lumbreras and Lorca.
Traditionally the location of the train station of Puerto Lumbreras, it became a
settlement which slowly grew and became independent. Still within the township of Puerto
Lumbreras, it now provides services to the surrounding areas.
La Estación has a primary school, a health
centre, a pharmacy, banks, shops, a supermarket, a petrol station and other amenities
within a very Spanish atmosphere. There are also regular buses to
the main towns around it as well as the train which provides a daily
service to Águilas, Lorca and Murcia.
There is a selection of plots in this location between 5,000
sqm and 9,000 sqm.
 La Parroquia
is located further inland between Lorca and Velez Rubio
and is set in some absolutely beautiful countryside in the foothills of
the mountains.
The plots are 6km from the actual town of La
Parroquia which is situated on the original Roman road from Cartegena to Linares
- there are even the original natural spring baths on the outskirts of the town which are
being renovated with a new rural hotel being planned.
With plots here all being 20,000 sqm this is
certainly an ideal location for some peace and tranquility and making the most of the
countryside around you. However with the town close by and with all services
including telephone available you will not feel totally isolated.

of which there are 15 currently available.
