Welcome to Special Property Update No. 18 ...... a Village Bargain!

Well here's an early Christmas present for you !

Further to my earlier general Property Update Newsletter where I mentioned that many clients have an upper budget threshold of 150.000€  there are also many working on a much tighter budget and this Special Update is aimed at them.

So if you are trying to find that good sized property but are limited to a maximum of 100.000 euros then this one might just be for you!

How about a 4 bedroom detached and renovated Village House with room for further expansion which has been further reduced today to just 95.000 euros ?!!

This is a large (250m2) detached house located on the edge of a small hamlet just 10 minutes to the north of the larger town of Albox. 

Set in some beautiful countryside with views over olive, orange and lemon groves and across to the church on the hill, the village centre is just a short walk away.  In the village which has a good mix of very friendly Spanish and ex-pats you will find several bars and the local shop.   There is also a lively community for those interested who arrange regular meets for meals, film nights, walks in the fantastic countryside and various other activities.   However if you prefer the 'tranquilo' lifestyle then there's plenty of opportunity for that too!

The house itself currently has 4 bedrooms over two floors plus a living area on both floors and with access from outside direct to each floor it would be possible to easily turn this into two separate dwellings - just by installing a kitchen upstairs.  There are also two further rooms which still need some renovation work and these could be used for further bedrooms, an office, playroom, etc......or simply for storage.

This would make the house suitable for either a larger family, someone needing a separate 'Granny flat' or even someone who expects lots of guests!

Outside and to the rear the owner has built a terrace against the exposed rockface which provides not just for a sheltered and private sitting area but also providing a direct access to the upper part of the house.  This is also a great place to develop the rockface further either with planting or perhaps creating a water feature?

Down at ground floor level there is a further terrace with a mature orange tree and grapevine leading on to an attached garage and the two rooms needing further renovation.

Although the village has a shop and bars just a short walk away, for major shopping trips and for all the other services, such as banks, etc you can just drive the 10 minutes into Albox which has a good mix of all services.

Its also worth noting that the new link motorway near Albox means the coast around Vera Playa, Garrucha and Mojacar are now just 35-40 minutes away.

The owner has carried out extensive work in renovating this house but is now spending a lot of time away so is not able to use it as much as expected and hence needing to move it on - very much at a loss due to current market conditions.  As such it has now been reduced to the very affordable price of just........

95.000 euros

I feel this property is well worth investigating!
